This month’s meeting is Saturday February 19th, 1:00PM EST to 4:00PM EST at Family Buffet at 121 Towne Dr, Elizabethtown, KY 42701!
Our keynote speaker will be State Representative Savannah Maddox, who has been working tirelessly to defend our gun rights and medical freedom and has been standing up to the lockdowns and mandates in Frankfort long before it became popular to do. She currently is championing HB28 (formerly BR106) to end forced employer vaccinations and HB158 to make Kentucky a strong, legal 2nd Amendment sanctuary state. She has just also introduced HR74, the “No Red Flag Gun Grabs Period!” resolution. We’ll get an update on her view of the state of the legislative session and things to be aware of.
Now that the period for Republican and Democrat candidate filings is closed, we will talk about some of the other interesting races happening, as well as talking about where bills are and where we can apply pressure to move our key bills forward.
We’ll also hear from state representative candidate from the 24th District, Courtney Gilbert. She is challenging Brandon Reed in a three-way primary for the house seat for Larue, Hart and Green counties.
